Two Springs ago, Valerie+Stephen enjoyed one of the most peaceful getaways of their lives at The Vineyard at Florence. And although they made a pact never to return to the same place -their bucket list is too long- when they decided to get married the only location that resonated in their hearts was The Vineyard at Florence. Exception made.
Valerie bought a beautiful wedding dress, Stephen had a dapper outfit, but when they arrived at The Vineyard they decided to forgo the fancy and keep the occasion authentically them. Relaxed, casual, natural. BUT… with heels this pretty, Valerie decided to wear them as her “something new” as she walked down the aisle.
Staying in the same villa they experienced such sweet peace and refreshment in, Villa Botticelli, rekindled some of the magic that enchanted them a year and a half ago. The privacy and the views are sublime.
Enjoying a glass of wine before the ceremony with Valerie’s brother and sister-in-law at The Vineyard at Florence’s tasting room, Villa Firenze.
Officiated by Scott Cole of Short and Sweet Weddings. It’s always a delight to witness the gentle guidance of Scott’s style as he customizes each ceremony for couples.
And this just might be my very favorite moment of the night: sheer delight!
